National Measles Laboratory has been established under WHO in this institute in the year 2008 for detection of Measles and Rubella. Measles and Rubella (IgM) is detected from serum samples collected from the states of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Orissa, Sikkim and is reported to NPSP-WHO. It has been running successfully and has got its accreditation from WHO.
